Great Community Musical Theatre since 1990
The Greely Players
The Greely Players is a not-for-profit community-based musical theatre group that was established in 1990 in the village of Greely in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
We mount one main production every year and rely on volunteers to produce the show and operate on a cost recovery basis only.
With sadness, we mark the loss of Ron Van Dusen, a long-time member and Patron of The Greely Players. Ron joined the cast of L'il Abner in 2002, but he was most often a backstage supporter of our musical productions, building sets and working as a backstage crew member. Most of Ron's onstage appearances took place in our annual Cabaret fundraisers. His most famous and recurring role was as The Lone Stranger in the hilarious skits created with his sidekick Pronto. His company Pedro Storage has been an essential supporter over the years. We thank him, his family and most loved wife Marg.
