15th Annual Dinner and Cabaret Show
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28th from 6pm - 10:30pm for
an evening of good food, good company, music and lots of laughter. The Greely
Players in conjunction with the Greely Lions Club are presenting their 15th
annual Dinner and Cabaret Show. This is a joint fundraising effort, with
the funds raised going to help fund our next show as well as some of the Lions
Club charitable works.
Tickets for the event ($45 per person) are available from Marg Van Dusen at
822-1136, and the earlier you book and pay for your tickets, the better seating
you will have. You will be entertained with song, dance and side-splitting
skits. You won't want to miss the return of The Lone Stranger and Pronto!
The fabulous dinner will be provided by AJ's Catering. Bring your friends and
enjoy a truly entertaining evening.
Exciting New Show Announced for March 2007!
The Greely Players is pleased to announce that their spring 2007 production
will be Annie Warbucks, the sequel to Annie. This show was chosen because
it features 10 to 12 children - including one as a lead; as well as 4 lead and
supporting roles for women and 4 lead and supporting roles for men; and a host
of other characters for the chorus. We will also need a dog to play
"Sandy"! Our 1999 production of Annie was well received and we hope to
repeat this success.
We are busy putting together our production team, so if you, or someone you
know, have an interest in directing, set building or painting, publicity,
make-up, costumes or other backstage work, please contact Sophie Hall at
613-489-0306 or Anne Peterson at 613-821-4107.
