It is our pleasure to introduce the Greely Players’ Corporate Sponsorship Program. We are a not-for-profit community musical theatre company based in south rural Ottawa that relies completely on volunteers both on- and back stage. Consider partnering with us to support our mission and goals while raising your profile in the community. Our Mission:We aim to mount one high-quality, family-oriented production every year. We engage both adults and youth in a unique partnership to bring about a successful show. Our Goals are:• To provide opportunities for community involvement in the performing arts. • To encourage youth to participate in community activities. • To provide low-cost, high quality entertainment to the community of Ottawa. • To give something back to the community that supports us. • To provide bursaries to high school graduates in the Ottawa area to continue their studies in the performing arts. Past shows included Fiddler on the Roof in 2008, Anne of Green Gables in 2009 and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Each year we choose well-known popular musical theatre productions that delight audiences of all ages. We typically reach over 1,600 people in our audiences during six shows over five days in our main spring production. Our PR involves the Ottawa Citizen, community newspapers, an on-line presence, and radio and TV plugs where possible. Exposure is further augmented over the year by a fundraising cabaret in the fall.
